Latest iPad Pro leak supports rumors of a four-speaker tablet

Claims that Apple's rumored larger iPad, the iPad Pro, will feature four speakers instead of two have persisted for months.

Now an alleged case for the iPad Pro, a photo of which was published by French site Nowhereelse.fr, lends more evidence to those rumors.

The case has the normal cut-outs for volume and lock/power buttons, the charger and headphone jack, etc. But it also has four cut-outs for speakers.

Yes, it seems the iPad Pro might be entertainment-ready as well as being a business-focused slate.

In addition there's a notch on the left side that, as Slashgear points out, looks like a hole for a SIM slot.

What to expect

The site says its source is reliable, despite how dubious it seems to be seeing a photo of an iPad Pro case when rumors of the tablet itself have gone unsubstantiated for so long.

The iPad Pro is said to be a 12-inch or larger tablet, but in the months and months we've been seeing rumors of it we've yet to see a single shred of significant evidence.

Still, if the rumors start to pick up again in 2015 we'll have to keep an eye out for the possibility of an announcement later this year.
