More word that Samsung's dropping Snapdragon for the Galaxy S6

We've been hearing rumors for weeks that troubles with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chip are liable to cause delays in upcoming flagships, and today we have another report to add to the pile.

Samsung will drop the Snapdragon from its Galaxy S line for the Galaxy S6, choosing instead to use its own line of processors, according to Bloomberg.

That's nothing that we haven't heard previously, but it's notable that Bloomberg is throwing its weight behind the rumor with a report of word from its own sources - "people with direct knowledge of the matter," according to the site.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will reportedly sport "Samsung's most advanced chips," so hopefully with Exynos on board the S6 won't be a total wash if the rumors do turn out to be true.

Qualcomm has denied that there are any issues with the Snapdragon 810, and several upcoming devices, including the Xiaomi Mi Note and the LG G Flex 2, are confirmed to be using it.
