GDC 2015: John Carmack answers 'why mobile VR' during GDC

The main question John Carmack decided to answer during his Oculus panel? "Why mobile VR."

Apparently Carmack says mobile VR is the future of virtual reality especially after it turned out better than everyone expected, even surprising the internal Oculus team.

He also spent time comparing the Innovator's Edition of the Samsung Gear VR versus the newest Gear VR model.

System software like notifications have changed because, "notifications have destroyed the experience on the Note 4."
