In Depth: HTC One M9 release date: where can I get it?

The HTC One M9 has been officially unveiled at MWC 2015, and retailers have been quick to confirm that they'll be selling the handset.


In terms of when the One M9 will be available HTC made the following statement: "Handsets will be available to pre-order on select partner websites from 9th March and available to buy in-store across all listed partners from 31st March, as well as at htc.com.


"Unlocked and Developer Editions of the HTC One M9 will also be available from via htc.com."

As the statement above reveals you'll be able to purchase the One M9 direct from the HTC website, although it looks like we'll have to wait until March 9 to find out the price.


EE


EE has confirmed it will be selling the HTC One M9, and it's managed to snap a three month exclusive deal on the all gold model.


Pre-orders will open on March 9, with the expectation the handset will start to ship on March 31.


Again, there's no word on pricing, but it won't be cheap so you're looking at the upper end of the pay monthly and SIM-free price brackets.


In the meantime you can register your interest in the One M9 on its website to keep up to date will all the latest.

O2's also been in contact to say it will be filling its shelves with the HTC One M9. It'll be stocking the gold-on-silver and gunmetal grey colour variants.


There's currently no exact release date or price from the bubbly network, but we expect pre-orders to open on March 9 as well.


HTC One M8 owners will be offered up to £171 if they fancy trading in for the latest model - although it all depends on the condition of your device.


O2 will keep you in the loop about the One M9 is you sign up online.


Three


Well how about this for a surprise, Three has said that it too will be selling the HTC One M9! What are the odds? Okay, no surprise there really, but good news for those already tied to the network.


Again pricing and release date details are proving tough to come by, but we fully expect Three to fall in line with the other networks.

There's no word from the Big Red just yet on its plans for the One M9, but we fully expect it to jump on the HTC bandwagon and stick this smartphone in its stores.


Carphone Warehouse


The high street retailer is also ranging HTC's latest flagship smartphone, with the One M9 set to be offered on a number of different tariffs from a variety of networks.


Again there's no word on pricing, but you can sign up online to get sent all the details once they're available.


Carphone is saying it expects the One M9 to arrive in April 2015 - so it may not quite make the March 31 date.
