Updated: Samsung Galaxy S6 release date: where can I get it?

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is official, and it's sporting a fancy metal unibody and glass front and rear - it's quite possibly the best looking Galaxy ever, but perhaps the Galaxy S6 Edge has just stolen that title.

In terms of the Samsung Galaxy S6 release date it'll be available on April 10 in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.

We're waiting to hear a price for the S6, but you can be sure it will set you back a fair whack.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S6, and you can register your interest online - but there's no word on pricing just yet.

O2

The bubbly network has revealed it'll have the Samsung Galaxy S6 in stock "in the coming weeks", which fits in with Samsung's April 10 date.

O2 says it'll provide us with an exact S6 price closer to launch - pass over your email to the network and it'll give you updates on the 5.1-inch S6.

EE

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will be coming to EE too, and the 4G network specialist has also revealed it will support WiFi calling. That means you'll be able to make calls when you're out of mobile signal using a WiFi network.

You can sign up for updates on EE's website today, but you'll have to wait for pricing details.

Three

Yep, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will also be available from Three, and yep once again there are no pricing details just yet but you can register your interest.

Vodafone

Vodafone has said the Galaxy S6 will be "coming soon" - but that's all it's said for now although once again there's the option to show your interest in the handset.

The community drive network will also be ranging the Galaxy S6 in its three storage variants and in gold, white and black. Sign up online to be kept up to date.

Virgin Media

Virgin Media has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be available from its stores and online from April 10.

Online retailers

We've got a sighting of the SIM-free price for the Galaxy S6 over at MobileFun which has the 32GB up for pre-order at £579.

Meanwhile over on Unlocked-Mobiles the Galaxy S6 is just "coming soon" with the promise of pre-orders opening soon.

The online retailers really are queuing up with Mobiles.co.uk offering a pre-registration page for the Galaxy S6 too.

Clove also has a holding page for the Galaxy S6, but again all you can do is register your interest for now.
